Market, Advertise and Brand your name, Oh and answer the Phone! That seems easy but you can't imagine how many people do not return calls.

Oh man! There's a TON of advice! A. Be busy! Especially in this market. Prospect, prospect, prospect. Instead of wasting postage or gas, walk door to door in a neighborhood offering your market study that you've printed off in your office. B. Utilize EVERY free outlet you can to get  your name out there. C. Take floor duty and do open houses for buyer leads. D. Get an education. Go with agents on listing appointments. Help them measure houses. Read. Read. Read! E. Contact your sphere and let them know you are in real estate. F. Take 10 business cards with you wherever you go and do not go home unless you have given out those 10 business cards.

There is a lot more, but this is a start!

One more thing - Utilize a CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM of some kind. Whether it is Top Producer or something similar, get your database in there ASAP.

1. Ditto with what Anne said. In a slower market, it's perfect to get as much knowledge as possible, so when the market recovers, YOU'LL be ready!

2. Work on your "Sphere of influence!"

most of the above comments are great.  I think I would add recruit recruit recruit.  I do believ e you need to give the associates the resources, and support they need.  For ewxample we have 4 attorneys on staff, and a title compnay.  Good luck
